really good shower

Our family loved the comfy beds and the really good shower with hot water and strong pressure. The kids enjoyed the variety of TV options while I appreciated the well-equipped gym for evening workouts.

The situation is very good. Parking is also no problem and on Sundays the prices are also very reasonable. Breakfast was fine.

The bathroom is in urgent need of renovation, especially at this price. Even some motels on our round trip had a more comfortable bathroom. Toilet flushing was a disaster.

Convenient location

Rude staff - I was told on arrival that I shouldn't have bothered visiting the north island as anything worth seeing was on the south island. Expensive internet charges - I paid $5 for 13 minutes access. Expensive parking charges and inadequate parking facilities. Also the hotel entrance is situated inside a shopping centre which looks quite strange for a hotel which isn't budget accommodation.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful and the lounge area served outstanding meals. Courtesy from the whole staff. Had very good service. A free shuttle was offered too. Unbeatable, incredible location in Auckland Central Business district close enough to the centre of the cbd and near great restaurants as well as the throngs of people visiting the area. Also, close to the theatre.
